Or, to paraphrase: “Use more paint!” What’s working best for your skies? I’ve been finding having a strong ground color — red, purple, pink — adds drama to a stormy sky. Especially if I remember to not overpaint it all and let bits show through rather that only using it to influence the colors over it.
